WORKSHOP #2: ADVANCED [lexicon]Poi[/lexicon] SPINNING
Prerequisites: Ideally you should be able to do all the basics comfortably.

***DEFINITION OF THE BASICS:
The basics are the moves that mostly rely on front hemisphere coordination and familiar body positioning. They are typically learned as “beginner moves,” but they can be explored and performed with a high degree of sophistication and complexity.
The complete set of basics should allow you to turn freely and symmetrically within and between the four basic modes of spinning.
Patterns:
Flocking: The basic reel turns at the hips and shoulders, in front and behind, with some exploration of extensions and pirouettes, and playing freely in a box.
Chasing: Turning freely with weaves, windmills, exploring extensions and the inside of the arms, and playing freely inside the box with chase.
Opposites: Turning freely with [lexicon]butterfly[/lexicon] and opposites, threading the needle overhand and underhand, and passing the [lexicon]butterfly[/lexicon] behind your [lexicon]head[/lexicon] and back in different patterns.
[lexicon]split time[/lexicon] opposites: Turning and playing with [lexicon]split time[/lexicon] opposites and playing inside the box.
All Modes:
-pirouettes and other dance “moves”
-patterns inside the arms (buzzsaw)
-Manipulating your planes
-crosspoints
-Rhythm and [lexicon]timing[/lexicon]
-Initial exploration of body movement and physical expression
-Stalls and speeds.
-Transitions between moves and modes
-Basic performance concepts and techniques

The workshop will Include:
-Freedom of body movement
-Variations of flowers (playing with various numbers of petals, modes, [lexicon]buzzsaw[/lexicon] flowers, etc.)
-Advanced rhythm and [lexicon]timing[/lexicon]
-Using Focus points for turns, whirling, and beautifying patterns
-Orbing and 3-d [lexicon]direction[/lexicon] changes
-Whirling, and moving in circles, arcs, and lines on the floor
-Hybrids and Triquetras
-Uberlooping
-Creating Visual Illusions with [lexicon]Poi[/lexicon] (Bullet time stops, relative stalls, contact-style manipulation)
-Antispin Weaves, Inversions, etc.
-Dance and Performance Concepts, Tips, and Tricks
-Requests (what do you want to know?)

wobei er auch gesagt hat, dass jeder willkommen ist, egal welchen Levels.

Ihm geht es nur darum, dass er vorher die Ziele des Workshops festlegt und dann beim Workshop auch diese Sachen durchgeht und nicht den Kurs mit [lexicon]butterfly[/lexicon] und 3 [lexicon]beat[/lexicon] halten muss weil 1 - 2 leute drin sind, die das noch nicht können.
Man muss das nicht alles können, aber dann kann man halt nicht alle Übungen von Nick sofort umsetzen
Zum Staunen gibts jedenfalls genug so oder so

wow, das ist 6 h her und jetzt sinds schon 20 mehr!!!

Wahnsinn! 24 Stunden später sind es 78 Workshopplätze, die belegt sind!

47 Anmeldungen an einem Tag, das hätte ich nie erwartet!

Wir haben die 100 Workshopplätze-Grenze überschritten.
Damit sind wir vom Shop aus dem Schneider. Das haben wir Nick fairerweise garantiert damit er kommt und wenn es nicht geklappt hätte, hätten wir die Differenz bezahlt.

Frankfurt hat das Rennen gemacht

Frankfurt habe ich extra auf einen Samstag gelegt, da geht evtl. noch ein weiterer Workshop.

Berlin hat stark aufgeholt! Es gibt noch einen Advanced Platz und n paar beim basic-workshop. leider wird es dort keinen zusätzlichen, dritten Workshop geben.
