hab zwar erst einmal gebaskt (?) und zwar am potsdamer platz. aber das ging dort gut, kann ich bestätigen. dort gibt es nette ecken, wo man platz hat.

es geht auch gut am gendarmenmarkt (vom potzplatz nicht allzu weit entfernt). aber der ist oft besetzt mit anderen straßenkünstlern, die dann etwa unpassende musik spielen oder so. der ort ist einfach zu ideal. das ginge aber nur nachts mit feuer oder LED. tagsüber ist der recht überlaufen, muss man aber vllt. mal ausprobieren.

allerdings lichtenberg? ich wohne seit 5 jahren in lichtenberg und habe hier noch niemanden basken sehen (das hat aber nicht viel zu heißen.)

a good idea could also be visiting "RAW-Tempel" in street "Revaler Straße". every thursday from 20.00 to 22.00 [lexicon]Poi[/lexicon] players meet there and practise. (not me every time, but sometimes.) it just costs 3 €.

we meet each monday and thursday from about 18:00 to 20:00+ in the Mauerpark (if the weather is too bad, we use the Bornholmer Brücke). if you want to know how to get there, just add me in msn or icq, i'd really like to meet other fireplayers and i think my teammates would appreciate it too

Oh, thanks a lot for your invitations... am not really sure how long I will stay in Berlin, if I will start earning money, I will stay here longer, but for now I have tried basking on Alexander platz and only succes was that one guy from pub went out and asked me for my number, because they will need some fire performer next month... Exept this, I have earned only about 10 Euro... Bad days...

I will be really glad to see some other group training, because back in Prague I was and will be starting my own firepoi group... Now its on the good way, we have a name, about four average [lexicon]Poi[/lexicon] performars, just start training...

you could check out potsdam square fo rbasking. once (the only time) i've been there and earned 10 € in a half hour. i think there are some nice places where you have space for playing and many people coming along (e.g. visitors of the cinemas) late at night. just watch out and see.

a very good atmosphere for playing could be at Gendarmenmarkt - not that far from postdam square, maybe 20 min walk (?). i don't know if it works. there are old theatres or something like that and between the shows at the evening people are walking around. but if you have bad luck, there are already other artists and play classical music, what maybe doesn't fit to fireplay. i'd really like to check that out but i didn't do it yet or - had bad luck.

Actually, in fourteen days, I have to send back to Czech Republik about 300 Euro, that is my bigist problem... Right now I am still staying in Berlin because tommorow will come my friend back to Berlin and I live right now in her parents flat... But then, I think right now, that I will not stay here for much longer, it is not working here...
Maybe I will stay here for next week, but I am not sure, only if I will start earning money by basking!!!

And what about to do some training without your group...?

well i also thought about that so i think we just meet at the usual training-place and just [lexicon]Poi[/lexicon] a bit. we could also meet some time earlier. if no one of my folks shows up at about 18:30 we just think of something to do maybe we could try one the locations mentioned above.

so if you want to do that i could be at the mauerpark (or under the bornholmer brücke, if the weather is too bad) from about 16:00.
