Ich probier mal zu zählen....ist wegen der Schatten leider nicht ganz einfach aber ich glaube, er spielt auf beiden Seiten gleich viele beats. Geht bei euch die slowmotion funktion? Bei mir leider nicht ...

Also ich kann das (leider) nicht spielen und weiss daher nicht, wies geht. Ist ein super beeindruckender Move, gerade von vorne fürs Publikum.

Der Move scheint asymetrisch gespielt zu sein:
Linke Hand: 1,5 Bt links vorne, 1 bt hinten, 2 bt rechts vorne
Rechte hand: 1 bt links vorne, 2 bts hinten, 1 bt rechts vorne (dann noch ein bt hinten zum Wechsel?)

Offenbar ergibt sich eine Führhand und eine Folgehand, die dann zwecks cross hinten anders ticken ...

Kann eigentlich nur eeek! mal ansagen bzw. jemand, der den move spielen kann ...

Soweit ich das sehe sind es zwei Bewegungen ineinander verschmolzen.

Grundbewegung ist die 3-beat [lexicon]weave[/lexicon] (oder eben WaistWrap) seitlich gespielt. Aber anstelle sie auf der gleichen Seite hinter dem Rücken aufzulösen wird ein Wechsel auf die andere Seite gespielt.

In beats sind das 3 vorne rechts, dann 3 hinter dem Rücken und wieder 3 links vorne. Um den Kreis zu schließen nochmal 3 hinter dem Rücken. Also 12beat irgendwas...

Natürlich geht das auch mit 2-beats und da ist denke ich der Fehler. Ich glaube in dem Video wird links eine 2-beat [lexicon]weave[/lexicon] und rechts eine 3-beat [lexicon]weave[/lexicon] gepielt, aber ganz sicher bin ich mir auch nicht.

ich hätte es Dir schon auch auf Englisch geschrieben, wenn ich wüsste ob das so stimmt mit Asymetrie. Bringt ja nix, zu antworten, wenn man nicht wirklich weiss, wovon man spricht ... gerade weil die Tuts solche hohe Anerkennung haben.

The spinner on the vid is standing sideways. That makes it difficult to break it down. As Samu already said Eeek is combining the 3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] backward move with a [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] to the 3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] forward move and back. There is neither a 5bt nor a 2bt. You simply don't count the beats of a [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] the same way as the beats of a actual move.

To comprehend this pattern break it down in slow motion. Starting on the left side Eeek is doing 3 beats of a 3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] backward move (imagine him standing with his whole body facing the right side which would be the normal position of the backward [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] move). As soon as he is doing the first [lexicon]beat[/lexicon] on the other side it is no longer a 3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] backward move but a [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] move.

The [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] counts 4 beats. It is one [lexicon]beat[/lexicon] more than your brain expects since the next move (3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] forward) is 180 degrees after time. You enter the backward [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] move beside your legs whereas the forward [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] move is entered beside your [lexicon]head[/lexicon]. That is why you need to add this one [lexicon]beat[/lexicon].

Then he is playing the 3bt [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] forward move on his right side. Again imagine how his body faces the left side and you simply see the 3 beats of a forward [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] move.

The [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] back to the starting point counts just 2 beats. Like before one expects 3 beats. Since he needs to get the 180 degrees back from the previous [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] he is doing just 2 beats.

Altogether we got 12 beats. 2 x 3bts for the [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] moves. 6 beats for the transitions. The entrance point of the [lexicon]BTB[/lexicon] moves are 180 degrees apart. For this reason you need 4 beats for the [lexicon]Transition[/lexicon] from backward to forward and 2 beats from forward to backward.

Yes, it is that simple!!!!

Needless to say there are other options to go for like doing it 5 beats.
